Vintage Mexican Pottery Shallow Bowl / Plate Fantasia Tlaquepaque Tonala. Size: 8" in diameter and 1 5/58" in Hight. The plate is in excellent vintage condition with no breaks, cracks only two small nicks on the white rim and two on the back. (see Photos )
Vintage Mexican pottery Shallow Bowl / plate featuring the ‘Fantasia’ pattern that was popular in Tlaquepaque and Tonala, Jalisco, Mexico during the 1930s and 40s. This pattern is known for its spectacular forms of animals and fauna. This particular Shallow Bowl / Plate features blue and white animals and flora against a Dark Blue background and a white rim. A great find for anyone that collects vintage, old or antique Mexican pottery, ceramics, folk art, plates or the Fantasia pattern from Tlaquepaque and Tonala.
