Antique Hand Forged Iron squirrel tail Wing nuts and Bolt w nut Conastoga Wagon

Description

This group of four squirrel tail wing nuts and a hand forged wagon bolt with it's nut are hand forged iron and  are solid and sound and have an old lightly rusted patina. See the pictures with the yard stick for sizes. I speculate that they may have come from a Conastoga Wagon. In another listing I will show a pair of hand forged iron Hinges possibly from a Conastoga wagon Tool Box Lid out of the same group of hardware. The large wing nuts were probably used to secure the wagon tail gate while the smaller ones secured accessories to the wagon box or gear.
