Up for the auction is a beautiful antique from the late 19th/ early 20th century Qi’ing dynasty Chinese embroidered silk panel/ roundel with embroidered dragons and Phoenix birds; was most likely made out of a 2- paneled Chinese lady’s skirt.
On a marine color silk material beautifully embroidered in satin stitches using bright multi- colored silk threads.
Extremely finely worked piece- just look at the pictures!
The beautiful panel measures 36.5” (approx 93 cm) in diameter.
Condition: good antique
condition with no visible damages or imperfections aside couple of small water stains and small imperfections to the silk material. No losses to the threads of the embroidery though.
This panel makes a
VERY BEAUTIFUL DISPLAY
and will be a valuable addition to any collection.
